Pleinair Painting Workshops

Spend a lovely day outside learning how to paint!

Every first and third Saturday of the month from 1030hrs until 15hrs, I will be holding a pleinair painting workshop, a whole evocative Pleinair painting experience!

Things we will cover:

  • We will discuss pleinair painting equipment

  • how to focus in on a strong composition,

  • define your values,

  • identify your light source,

  • create a point of focus, and

  • how to see and use color on pleinair

We will have dynamic demos, group critique, and personalised one-on-one feedback while you paint. I will be using oil painting as my painting medium, with a tripod and a painting easel. I paint on oil painting paper due to its portability.
